PITCHING DEVELOPMENT
LAB Player Development's pitching program offers pitching training an instruction that is designed for pitchers at all levels.
Our comprehensive pitching programs are designed to meet each players unique development needs and performance goals.
Pitching Development programs are completed on a daily, weekly and monthly basis along with each pitcher’s development roadmap and where they fall in their current and future training.
Program goals are to create a competitive and positive environment that will promote personal development and growth for athletes of all levels.
PITCH DATA
Rapsodo is a radar-triggered camera system pitch-tracking tool that captures real-time ball-flight data, allowing pitchers to get an accurate understanding of exactly what their pitches are doing during flight to make immediate optimizations and improvements in their pitch delivery.
Rapsodo brings powerful insights into every pitch, by helping players and coaches improve their performance through real data. This allows for now-standard pitch measurements like velocity and spin rate, but, because the data is captured visually, Rapsodo units can also measure spin axis, true spin and spin efficiency.
Rapsodo gives aspiring athletes of all ages and skill levels amazing tools and data to help improve their game.

LOAD MANAGEMENT
Motus is a training platform for baseball players of all ages. The lab-accurate Motus sensor is worn in a compression sleeve on the throwing arm, and sits just below the Ulnar-Collateral-Ligament (UCL). Each throw captures peak valgus torque on the arm, which is accumulated into state-of-the-art workload measures designed to help you train at your peak
Mptus accumulates daily workload, acute workload (9-day average), chronic workload (28-day average), and acute:chronic ratio, which are all designed to increase your arms fitness in a safe manner
Torque from every throw made is accumulated into daily workload measure. This daily workload measure is used to then compute a rolling acute average of workload (9-day average), and a rolling chronic average of workload (28-day average).

We go where you go. motusTHROW records biomechanical data from every throw made in practice and games. Peak valgus torque from each throw is calculated and is fed into state-of-the-art workload algorithms.
